Version 0.2.2: the new HUD
A new HUD made of real materials: Smoked Glass by default, with Leather & Mahogany and Navy & Brass in Settings > Interface. Health and mana orbs, a porthole minimap in the corner, the menu buttons with a gear for Settings, and an Esc menu. Windows snap into columns. The interface starts at 90 % and scales as one.
Free movement: walk in any direction with the right mouse button or W/A/S/D + Q/E/Z/C. Bodies are solid, attacks fire while you move, and melee reaches a little farther. Keep Distance, the third fight mode, holds your bow's or wand's range. Stairs and holes are taken with the left button. The cursor shows what a click will do, and clicking a highlighted word in an NPC's line says it for you.
New creatures and gear: the venom spider, snake, bug and wolf, fourteen armour pieces with new icons, and a female Citizen. Outfit names never repeat a vocation's (the armoured look is now the Sentinel), and a new character starts in the outfit suggested for its vocation. Soul points are gone. The launcher downloads four files at once and resumes a dropped connection.
Known issues: this is a test build, so expect bugs; characters and progress may be wiped. Ctrl + click on yourself does not offer Set Outfit yet, and the colour wheel comes later. The minimap's gold player arrow is still missing. A very long column of windows can run past the screen. Some Portuguese texts and the 4K layout are not fully checked. Most female outfits still use the male body, and the world map shows the whole island for now.
